EASY TREAD Brief description

EASY TREAD is a compact, modular measuring system for stationary and mobile car tire tread depth measurements while driving across underfloor and above-floor installations in car dealerships and repair shops. The system was developed for BEISSBARTH GmbH, the German market leader for repair shop equipment. Other typical users are fleet operators, logistics centres, TÜV organisations, vehicle manufacturers, tire manufacturers and tire dealers.

The purpose of the system is to make a significant contribution to overall traffic safety, to automate vehicle service processes and to boost the tire and service business of car dealerships.  When a service customer arrives, the system already provides information on the tire condition. It supplies convincing illustrations of the tire condition that help the customer make decisions or provide the basis for instructions.

The system can be integrated into existing digital infrastructure and display devices. No external PC is required for its operation. The tread depth, images, etc. can be displayed on Smart TVs, tablets or any browser.  Different interfaces, such as REST API, allow queries from external servers or the automatic transmission to them.

EASY TREAD works reliably without the use of laser technology. Its design and the arrangement of the system components make it easy to install even in places where space is at a premium.
